Nokia has added a new device in its E Series called Nokia E7, the new device comes to the market as a next-generation business smartphone. It comes with a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, that boasts a 640 x 360 pixels resolution, as well as with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The specifications list of this device include 350 MB of internal memory, complemented by 16GB mass memory, along with 256MB of RAM and 1024 MB of ROM. The new Nokia E7 sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with HD 720p video recording capabilities and dual led flash.
Moreover, its multimedia capabilities expand with support for H.264, MPEG-4, VC-1, H.263, Real Video 10, ON2 VP6, Flash video and MP3, AAC, eAAC, eAAC+, WMA, AMR-WB- AMB-NB, DRM support WM DRM, OMA DRM 2.0.
The connectivity options of this handset include WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA, Micro-USB 2.0, TV out, 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as GPS, A-GPS, WLAN and Cell-ID positioning features.
The mobile phone packs a 1200mAh BL-4D battery that can offer up to 9 hours of talk time or up to 18 days of standby time on GSM networks, or 5 hours or 20 days on WCDMA. Nokia announced that the new device should become available in a series of color versions, including Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue and Orange.
The E7 will also allow you to create, view and edit spreadsheets, word documents and Powerpoint presentations. More Microsoft business tools wil be announced in the near future. The Nokia E7 will cost around €496 SIM free.
